Small hybrid turrets (both Blaster and Railgun) do somewhere along the lines of 50% damage to other armor and shield vehicles as well as installations, if you've ever looked at the HUDs weapon effectiveness reader after zooming in...
This makes them rather ineffective as AV
I don't see the Small Blaster being much use at AV other than LAV-to-LAV combat. Regardless, I don't think this seemingly undercover nerf should be there...
The Small Rail guns WHICH ARE SUPPOSED TO BE AV TURRETS get this halved damage output to other vehicles and, I believe, installations as well...

If you have a Small Railgun on your vehicle that supposed to do around 500 damage on a direct hit to another vehicle, it truly does around 250. Probably less if the enemy pilot knows how to run resistance properly.
no wonder small rail turrets are useless... against anything.
As if the small rail's accuracy wasn't bad enough... so its not even really great for infantry
sit immobile with a small rail turret, somewhere, (you don't even wanna know how bad the accuracy is when moving) then pick a spot on a wall/building and hold fire until weapon overheats...
Its all over the place - Unlike Large Rail Turrets which are fine compared to the small ones for some crazy CCP reason. The rail gun is supposed to be a super accurate and pinpoint weapon -_-
Yes, I will be a troll and start saying trollish crap like this (as If I don't already do it enough in my posts), then get trolled by other trolls, then counter-troll trolls who trolled me, then get banned from the forums for trolling CCP as well as other said trolls. I completely agree. I've been here for a year now and the small railguns have always been ****.
I've also been crying for them to be buffed a lot but it was to no avail.
I'm right here with you in requesting for the small railgun to at least do damage against what it's supposed to do. |

CCP has been working hard over the past year to make all small turrets equally useless.
Missiles used to be worth using, but they fixed that after Codex. |
