Why is it that the only race to have a heavy suit doesn't even have a racial weapon? Does the empress hate fatties that much? |

She does. While she is the divine embodiment of the Faith on earth she is into the skinnier guys.
In any case I also don't understand why we also don't have laser turrets and bloody tanks. |

New heavy weapons are coming, but nothing has been revealed yet.
The heavy laser won't actually be a full stream laser like the laser rifle though. It's most likely going to be a beefed up version of the Assault Scrambler.
Imagine a HMG Scrambler, but not a HMG. |

Hope the heavy laser weaponry comes soon and each tier costs more CPU and PG than the normal HMG of the same tier (eg basic, advanced, proto). As a result the weapon would be less likely to be perceived as OP because it costs more CPU and PG lol. |

Frankly i'd be ok with ANY thing at this point. Sentinels reduce feedback damage but NO heavy weapon has feedback damage atm. I find this to be BS in the extreme. |

CCP hating heavies is why I specced out of them so long ago. I was kinda getting annoyed at that whole "you'll ever use the HMG or forge and you'll like it" sort of thing.
I can't help but get the feeling CCP are shooting themselves in the foot here. When we get faster heavy suits and/or new weapons that reach out to 30m the face of the game is going to be so dramatically changed people are going to flip out. |

i know right. Seriously CCP if you hate heavies why are they in the game at all? then it hits me gotta give the AR scrubs free kills so they have a sense of accomplishment by killing the BIG SCARY HEAVY with the near useless HMG. |

that right there is why we will never see heavy lasers be anything but TBA. Everything else on their little weapon list has a name EXCEPT the heavy laser and plasma weapon. C'mon CCP you could have at least given them a ****in name . . . |

It need to be some super huge weapon and that blind people close to the heavy, in fact when equiped heavies should have a special pair of sun glasses on or something, and it should do ******* ridiculous damage, make it like forge gun damage but spread over time and when it direct hits infantry AND kills them they should just explode into pink mist in glorious detail |

youre saying i have to either gimp myself with a light weapon or use duct tape and bubble gum built HMG / FG that runs on QQ when you get good at it. No i want a heavy laser and like i said Amarr is the ONLY race to have a heavy and they couldnt even be bothered to build a **** weapon for the suit. |

Allow me to help spread the word that there is a scrambler-type heavy weapon in development. Seeing how the sentinel suit gives a bonus to feedback damage reduction, expect this thing to strip your defenses if you suck at heat management. |
