I was doing nothing wrong but flying.
Tell me, why is this an acceptable game mechanic?
I was in the city over that double bridge area people like to place uplinks.
All at once, hear sound, RDV spawns in 1 foot above me with an LAV. It comes straight down on top of me while I looked around to see there was no way out even if I could fly 5000x faster and turn on a dime. Insta death without warning.
Reminds me, CCP, you owe me 1 million isk or the last DS I lost to your floating invisible object. I took pictures of how huge it is after I crashed on it. Remember that thing? Yeah.
Why do you hate pilots much? Do you not want us to play this game? |

Aircraft are for scrubs. Get an AR and play properly.

Something really needs to be done about the way those things are coded. We aren't even talking impacts most of the time, we're talking love-taps that instantly burn you. It's like those things are using Halo 1 collision physics where standing up against a vehicle and then having it move an inch would kill you. |

Soooooo. What you're saying is to kill a drop ship all I need to do is have everyone in my squad gather near a drop ship and start calling in stuff. Good to know.
I have a tip for you. Stop calling expensive stuff into pubs. You should have 20m so by now, skill into a decent dropsuit and run on the ground like everyone else. |

There's no other way to practice than in pubs. Derp.
I can't control the price of it. To use a cheaper dropship is guaranteed loss of however much, usually 500k ISK.
My point is, I was doing nothing wrong, playing well and there was nothing I could to to avoid this capricious reaper. And that is a problem which Dust needs to get their **** together and look at. |

Agree with original post. Me and corp mates were tearing the enemy apart with his gorgon (they actually ran from us we killed so many  )
what brought us down?
Swarms? - nope, I either killed them or we easily avoided them
Forge gun? - too slow for us
Terrain? - Puleese! my man is a pro
