No, Eve uses those two variables, CPU and PG, to fit all modules.

Unless you're talking about calibration points used for rig slots. Not quite sure how rigs would work since the suits are produced on-demand from blueprints. Rigging would imply that you modify it in a way that the blueprint or technology can't.

Ships in eve use high slots to fit their turrets and equipment and then have a third stat to control what kind of turrets and equipment you can run. Its an interesting system, I don't completely understand it myself.
EVE Online ships have three different module slots (High, Medium, Low (PG / CPU)) and rig slots (calibration points).

High slots are generally used for guns (blasters, rails, missiles, autocannons, beam lasers, etc.), but can also use mining lasers, salvagers, smart bombs, and gang links ("buffs"), among other things.

Medium slots are used for shield tanking, propulsion, electronic warfare, and the ever popular hull repairer.

Low slots are used for armor tanking, hull upgrades (cargo space, nanofiber structures, bulkheads, etc.), and damage mods.

These are only a handful of what these slots can actually fit. I'll rack my brain for my old favorite Dominix fit.

 Dominix (PvE)

 Highs:
 4 Drone Link Augmentor I
 1 250mm Railgun I
 Empty Slot

 Mediums:
 1 Micro Jump Drive
2 Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link
 2 Capacitor Recharger II

 Lows:
 4 Drone Damage Amplifier II
 1 Thermic Armor Hardener II
 1 Kinetic Armor Hardener II
 1 Large Armor Repairer II

 Drone Bay:
 5 Garde II
 5 Warden II
 5 Hobgoblin II

 Rigs:
 I can't remember xD

But yea, this was (to the best of my knowledge) my PvE fit for my Dominix. All of these modules use PG and CPU, nothing else (unless you want to count capacitor, but that really only determines how long you get to use certain modules).

But this shouldn't stop them to implement a third fitting stat here on Dust, right? right???!! I'd think that it would either overcomplicate things, or attempt to pigeonhole each suit into one specific role, which goes against the whole "be whatever merc you want to be" plan.
