I'll try to keep it simple.
I understand Eve has 3 variables, CPU, pg and something else.( I'm obviously nos an Eve player)
If this x variable is introduced in order to give more x to eqp, and give logi suits more x, more pg to HP mods (like extenders), and give heavys more pg, and more CPU to damage mods and guns, and give CPU to assaults (or any other way you might find right), could solve the problem of exploiters mixing things up that shouldn't be (like a dmg mods stacked on logis)
I propose this cos the continuous nerfing has to stop. What do you guys think? |

The x factor would be the new variable like CPU and powergrid are right now |

Ok my understanding of the EVE mechanics is definitely wrong. But maybe in dust, could a third variable, make the suits more role specific, so that logis be logis, assaults be assaults, etc. |

But yea, this was (to the best of my knowledge) my PvE fit for my Dominix. All of these modules use PG and CPU, nothing else (unless you want to count capacitor, but that really only determines how long you get to use certain modules). But this shouldn't stop them to implement a third fitting stat here on Dust, right? right???!! I'd think that it would either overcomplicate things, or attempt to pigeonhole each suit into one specific role, which goes against the whole "be whatever merc you want to be" plan. Actually, no.
Be whatever mercy you want to be, but skill into it by buying and using the suit that is better for that role.
You don't see many heavys with a shotgun jumping and trying to ambush you...
The energy idea somebody mentioned before could solve the problem for the Logis and assault, since the scouts and heavys are more of a speed issue |

But...but.... nah I don't think it's going to overcomplicate things. I'll do an example (I have no datas here with me, so I'll throw casual numbers for cpu and powergrid, I just need to better convey the idea) Actual Caldari Logi 290 CPU 90 PG (It's going to be overused because of all the reasons we already know) Caldari Logi with the third variable (I'll call it bacon) 150 CPU 50 PG 60 Bacon where "Bacon" is the base requirement for any equipment (for example an armor rep would cost 20 CPU 4 PG and 25 Bacon) This way you have very limited PG/CPU but you can still fulfill your duties as a real logi
Thank you, this is what I meant

xxwhitedevilxx M wrote:but actually he came up with a wonderful idea. Add another specific like power grid and cpu so that equipment "fits" into that specific area. This third variable would solve the problem of logi assaulter. wonderful, seriously. CCP should absolutely read this, i don't know why nobody thought about it before. +1 well done. Thank you |
