I'm super grateful for the literally hundreds of battles I've played since uprising started. Everyone wants to play, it's just a matter of if you have the skill, dedication, and teamwork to win.
the pool of people who have the skill and dedication, and teamwork to play PC are losing stamina, while some of EoN. holds strong and continues to enjoy playing the game while we patiently wait for better content or better games to draw us away.
I for one will be slowing down a lot with FFAAR coming out soon.
But until then let the good times roll. |

If EoN wants what they consider "good fights" they're probably going to need to split and fight amongst themselves. Like I said before, it's pretty clear that the problem is there just aren't many players who have any interest in PC. EoN created a big blue donut, not realizing that once they swept away the less enthusiastic competition they would be left twiddling their thumbs.
Then again, maybe they good and well realized this going in, and simply didn't care.
Either way, until CCP gives players a reason to care beyond chest-thumping about being the best players on a game that the majority of the player base doesn't take seriously, PC is going to continue being the playground of said chest-thumpers.
You are naive. And couldn't be further than the truth.
But that's fine.
We fought 3 tough matches tonight, fought 2 tough matches the night before, more before that. We sharpen our nova knives daily by seeking out fights and making our friends fight for the land they hold. Those that don't want that win enough to do anything they can to be prepared and bring their best to the battles, well they come up short and end up bitter.
Their are still roughly 30+ corps contributing at the least 800 players to pc. And the fights will continue as long as people deem this game worthy of their time. The fact that more corps are joining than have quit is telling.
isk is silly, we all agree. I think we just hit 10 billion here. I hand it out like candy myself. I even gave 200+ mill recently to another player.
NF has the potential to field great teams. so does WTF, so does GAC, so do many of the up and coming corps like PRADOX, and STB will always be a factor as long as they stick together.
