Why do they not give guardian points, if I am healing 2-3 people standing in them while in a fire fight if they are killing enemies, why is it only when I can't shoot back with a repair tool are guardian points given out?
Second why can I not get a vehicle triage nano-hive? |

Don't get greedy. You already get plenty of points for the triage and you don't need your repper out to get them.
Imagine if you got guardian points from triage nanohives. Technically everyone in your squad or team could drop a compact nanohive in the same place, and squad leaders could spawn there and use that location to call in your orbitals... |

Cough! They already do what you describe with tanks and other vehicles when a squad leader jumps inside after calling in a strike and give the passengers extra points, more if somebody is using rep tool and the tank is assisting the strike for up to 3 players more if it is dropship fully loaded just sitting on top of something t
And you didn't realize that I stated a TRIAGE-ONLY variant in the title of the post, the compact is a dual nano - healing and then ammo.
A logi will use the TRIAGE Only nano-hive so they can help the fighters by throwing out assists or kills in the attempt to hold the line or take the objective, unless ccp is going to let a friendly repair tool damage an enemy or enemy vehicle. |

So you're saying that the Wiyrkomi Nanohive should give you guardian points if your teammate kills someone while standing on it?
Let's see why this is a bad idea.
You can have two Wiyrkomi triage hives out at any given time. They have 101 nanite clusters, and 3 clusters = 1 rep, so that's 33 reps. I'm not sure how the conversion from HP -> Triage points is, but for simplicity's sake, let's say each rep gives 25 WP. So that's 825 WP each nanohive.
Now let's add guardian points into the mix. Keep in mind that a person doesn't need to take damage and be repaired to receive guardian points; they just have to be locked on with the repper or within the nanohive's radius in this example. You can earn an infinite number of guardian points for teammates getting kills using your nanohive, assuming their armor isn't being damaged and the nanites aren't being consumed.
Do you still think this is a great idea? Can't you see how easy it would be to farm orbitals with this mechanic?
TL;DR, triage nanohives (and even triage only) give enough warpoints as it is. Don't get greedy. |
