There have been many requests to nerf forge guns and mass drivers on the forums lately, but I think that introducing destructible environments would be the best way to balance these weapons. In the current build, we do not have to worry about collateral damage, because there is no way to cause it. However, if destructible environments were introduced, a need to exercise more restraint would come into play. On Iron Delta, for example, the tower next to Bravo can be used by forge gunners to kill players hacking Alpha. If environments became destructible, I would think twice about using this tactic, because it could cause the destruction of the null cannon or even the control panel. Careless use of explosive weaponry could also lead to the destruction of objects or buildings that double as cover.
This has been suggested before, and I don't expect destructible environments to be implemented anytime soon, if at all, but I wanted to explain how, in my opinion, this feature would improve Dust's balance. |

It could also stop lav spamming because people wouldnt drive their vehicle int a wall n ththat falls on them trying to get 1perspn,also it's just fun to blow up a building, and it could cost money in repair for corporation battles |
