Simply speaking, it's a FPS game, all FPS games follow general rules. She really didn't have any battle awareness, it doesn't take whatever WP points to learn, you just have it. I love the parts where she'll spawn and just stand there, yes when I play a shooter game, that's my first reaction when spawning in a fire fight.
The full auto at long range was cute.

If you see something in this game, you will stick around until you have enough knowledge to actually feel like you have a clue what you are doing and not feel like a total victim. But generally, nobody can be expected to play a game that is absolutely no fun at the bottom of the learning curve.
As a little thought experiment, imagine an entry requirement for all FPS would be years of FPS experience. What do you think would happen?

I know people who are horrible, die tons, and still get enjoyment from the game, each their own.
As much as I would like to believe she is a innocent little victim, the video is called 'FPSuck', she obvious doesn't play FPS's. It's just a poor attempt to smack talk the game because she sucks and lacks battle awareness. "OMG Like those guys are picking on me because I am noob!". This is the main mentality lately with the 'skill gap', but you can't have a skill gap if you don't have any skills to begin with. ;)
Sadly, FPS's are pretty simple to get into, you don't need 'years of FPS experience'. Maybe years to get competitive if that's your thing, but as a casual player, it's really simple.
I could suggest a game that is more down her alley though, but it looks like she already makes videos of World of Warcraft. |
