A matchmaking system is virtually impossible because there are too many variables. KDR, SP levels, squads, specializations, then theres the fact of how people play, a redline sniper will have a high KDR same with sniper tanks, where as a dedicated logi will have a low KDR but is very valuable, squad from a corp that works together is way better than a squad of randoms who got together in local or in the warbarge. |

You're thinking far too inside the box there, you can remove most of those stats and still come up with a decent match making system. Sorry but you're being niave. No game has ever created an ideal system. Until CCP adds content, gamemodes, and makes this game fun to play rather than just a grindfest. Dust won't have the numbers to split up the player base in a similar manner to what EVE does, which would be ideal for dust as well. |
