i don't know about anyone else, but i'm completely fed up with pubstomps.
they suck to play against (redlined and farmed)
and they suck to play on (all there is to do is redline camp)
so where the hell is the matchmaking? at least put proto pubstomps against other proto pubstomps so they can shoot at eachother |

Also, for the record, when you behave immaturely, you invite immaturity. If you want to have people respond with maturity, then act with maturity. Some free advise from someone that is much older than you think.
it's more like, in general, the only people so fixated and obsessed with projecting "maturity" and criticizing a lack of it are those only just starting the grapple with it, again, 13-16 year olds. If you're over that age range and still hung up on the concept, you're in a bad way friend |

the awful part is that, when the game is evenly matched, it's INCREDIBLY engaging and intense. things MATTER, what you do MATTERS for the entire team.
with one squad that throws the entire game off balance, since that little bit of communication means they can do almost anything they want across the map. damn shame.
if the matchmaking system is even halfway decent we'll see a LOT more of those "intense" games that end neck-and-neck |

easy matchmaking;
1) if you are on a squad, the total allocated sp of your squad is tallied as you start a match
2) you are pitted against another squad of equal size and relatively equal total SP
3) this continues until, at most, half of each team is evenly matched squads
4) fill the remaining spots with randoms regardless of SP
this would solve about 90% of the "bad games" out there, it would make redlining almost impossible, and keep almost all games evenly matched and engaging.
the only exception would be fluke cases like multiple 12mil sp proto randoms getting assigned to one team and blueberry randoms to the other. |

read that explaination and stop raging over something you clearly dont understand.
CCPs current matchmaking is FAR supirior to the one you suggested. the only factor making it seem bad is your hatred of teamwork and the lack of total player numbers that cant be overcome with ANY matchmaking system
the fact remains; most games end up being steamrolls. any almost every single game with a full squad on either team ends up being incredibly boring for both sides.
if the current system is "far superior", why is it so terrible? |
