I run about 9.36 with a complex kinetic on my minmatar scout, since I need the other low slot for a CPU enhancement if I run two guns an a equipment an maybe about 300 total hp. Now last night I got stalked by a heavy that could almost keep up with me an eventually almost killed me in the city until my team came, no matter how far I ran or how many corners I turn there he was, right on my a$$!
I actually had to call my squad to get rid of him!
Two builds ago in 1.1 this never would have happened, yet due to this constant scout nerfing, an equality of suits I'm starting to see how bad a place an useless a scout is.
I ve ran this class since I started this game 7 months ago an have watched it constantly get forgoton about. Our shotguns don't work nore our knives, or our explosives yet they fix every gun in the game, they nerf our stamina an supply more slots for every proto suit but leave the scout so far behind to the point that heavies can actually succeed in chasing a scout, an also have similar turning an strafing speeds.
Something needs too be done about this, hardly anyone runs just a scout fit anymore that there is hardly anyone left to defend it or the weapons we use.
It's just sad that this is a game with diversity to skill into so many amazing things only for everything to change in the name of balance but the game is entirely biased towards gearing the game towards certain fits an weapons, but the day a heavy can keep up with a scout is the day I lost all respect for this game an the hope that these things will be corrected.
We all know that, aim assist an new guns, lav fixes an a mass driver nerf will probably be next an then something else! When are you gonna restore heavies to the slow unstoppable forces they used to be an scouts to the nimble speedy stealth assassin s we are supossed to be?
I'm not talking mods I'm talking changing actual stats an slots. A minmatar scout is supposed to be the fastest, how can that be with only two low slots an a logi has at least 4? We either need another slot or higher base stats plain an simple, this current avoidance to this class has lasted far too long Give us some much needed attention for the love of all things holy please organize priorities an make al suits move an strafe an turn with accordance to what they actually are. |

Balance is what ruins games. just look at fairfield 3. Because of *balance* the only useful weapons are the 16 or the aek. All they had to do was buff not nerf but no they had to go on a nerf streak like ccp. Nerfing solves nothing. It only satisfies the majorities selfish desires. Every one is crying for a mass driver nerf. ccp is going to do it. All in the name of *Balance* |

Without claiming expertise on the subject, I wanna say the cal logi was detrimental to all logis. Their ability to move faster than people can hit them, coupled with their ridiculous tank and hitting power meant that the masses demanded they be gimped down.
As much as I hated being knifed in the back or shotgun ninja'd, hopefully the class can remain relevant. |

All in the name of *Balance* Personally I find it better when theirs things in the game that make it hard, few builds back the range on the TAR was a bit much but you learn to deal with it, same with the faylock an md, problems come when everyone owns one an ccp will never control that. Next you have proficiency skills an five high slot damage users, which is part of the game an cant be undone so the fact that ccp is wasting their time balancing damage they should leave it an force people to balance it themselves by realizing they actually need shields on their damn fix instead of a ar user complaining about a md because now they need to actually trade out some dam mod s to use shields to survive, yet as a scout your forced to rely on playing smart with no buff what so ever an everyone should get used to a similar play style since that's how the games designed. |

I know what you mean. I've been hunted by a grzzly proto bear a few times. like every time you round a corner he shaves a littl ebit off, then the next corner, the next... until you are dead.
And at some points it's quite a haul, so it feels bizarre the guy can keep up.
oh well. That's why I don't run away any more |

I would never run a scout with out cardio, 9.36 speed is nothing with out cardio.
Sometime top tier players in minni assault suits can keep up the pase of corners to get me, but never a heavy,. never.
Stamina is the key, not kincats,. them stupid things are over rated.
spend all day running dual cardio, I bet you will be running one on every suit after that.

A heavy with a complex kin cat is has about 6.3/m run speed, a little more if two are on. Plus they have a decent stamina pool. So two kin cats and a regulator would give him the speed and stamina to chase you, but probably not catch you. Most heavies armour tank instead of buffing their weakness. |

The problem is its easier to nerf scout speed/stamina or increase it in other areas than it it to adjust aiming mechanics like speed and hit detection.
When I first started you literaly could not put a cursor on a scout with full blown speed. Ide see scouts going 20-0 against my teams all the time with shotties.
Those same guys specd flaylocks and it got worse. They made something faster than the aiming mechanic and fixed it.
I am just guessing ofcourse. I dont know ****, but thats what would make sense to me. |

Dont get so excited By "balance" they mean giving in to KBM and Heavy whining and getting rid of the turning and aiming speed restrictions on the KBM and on the heavy suit so the scouts one advantage being slightly faster and better aiming is now completely gone since a heavy can turn and aim just as fast as you can now and maybe even faster |

Its possible that the Heavy maxed out his speed and endurance with Bio Modules. Some people run heavy like that, you can make them as fast a normal medium from what I've seen. So If he had the stamina, he's likely not going to catch up with you directly, but every time you slow down, he'll catch up. |

The TAC AR needed a range nerf and a way you could not use a modded controller. As a heavy I was glad that it was nerfed it was ridiculous you could not even move without a few shots and down you went. As for the scout it is in dire need of an overhaul. I believe they intentionally slowed the scout due to frame rate, instead of fixing the frame rate they just made the scout slower. After this next upgrade or patch or whatever they want to call it drops I predict if its a dud there will be even less people playing. Soon you will be able to hear the echoes of players footsteps in the game due to it being so empty. We went from over 7000 players a day down to 4500(on a busy day) and dropping fast. With school approaching there will be less younger players on and more will leave in mass when PS4 drops right around the holidays. So I say we have less than 3 weeks left before we can truly determine the lifespan of this game. |

CCP give the scouts invisiblity cloaks already, sheesh.
Then make active scanners 'outline' enemies that are scanned on-screen.
Two things that are half-forgotten are now suddenly fun. |
