HELLO ALL. I am currently skilling into mass drivers, and i would like to know which suit not only that the mass driver benefits from, but that will provide me with good survivability. Thank you for any answers, and all answers are appreciated. |

Depends if you want to logi or not. Mass driver is an awesome logi weapon.
But in general caldari or minmatar with shield tanking.
Minmatar logi since caldari does get less equipment.
Caldari assault for more shield tank, if you-Śre going assault. |

try amarr medium frame, you can use the 2 high power slots for damage mods and the low for what you want, if you have both shield and armor upgrades to level 5 you'll have a 225+225. |

In another thread someone suggested Amarr Logi as the MD frame. You would have a sidearm, are decently tanky, and can carry all the equipment you need. It looks good on paper but I haven't tried it. |

Amarr logi is viable too since you can armor tank more effectively than any race, can use a sidearm and toss damage mods in the high slots. |

That has to be me. :P
But if you feel you don't need the sidearm (ahem assault MD), then Gallente or Minmatar logis become the best option. Damage mods and armor tanking work well with these.

I was personally thinking Caldari Logi, as I see more Caldari Mass Driver users than any other suit. |

Then try the Gallente or Minmatar logi for damage mods + armor plates. With lolCalLogi you'll have to shield tank. Well the Mass Driver has high base damage so it'll get a good bonus from damage mods. Shields can work well when you accidentally hurt yourself by the Mass Driver's big splash radius in CQC situations. So try what's best for you.

Don't forget...before you skill too heavily into your weapon, make sure your suit has some survivability. |

The amarr medium has the highest base CPU, PG, and health of all the medium suits. The trade off is speed. |
