Gastun's HMG has to be my favorite. But I didn't know hit detection was so bad with this thing. My main weapon is my logistics LAV. Yes I'm that scrub but how to resist the fun of running people over? Forge Guns were the least of my problem since they can barely hit me 1 or 2 times. Sentinel + HMG + LAV combination is my "role". Got bored of it fast though I'm trying assault Scrambler Rifles and a Caldari suit now.

It is because I always pay attention to the killfeed and seeing the top corp guy going +15 kills with his assault Forge Gun that had me thinking that the gun was OP. Then I tried a tank and it was proof enough, even though tanks suck at the moment they'll need to have +10k HP to survive an assault Forge Gun spammage. Then as you must have noticed everyone is just doing assault Forge Gun, hence my FOTM thread.

I love shot guns the most second to the nova knife.

The people getting forge gun kills have just made it to the top of the skill curve when it comes to aiming and killing infantry with the weapon. Make more towers with ladders. Make rooftops more accessible. But don't nerf the weapon because someone's better than you with it.

Seriously, you don't see a problem with doing this? Also, sitting on a DS-only accessible roof to use your FG, does not mean you are good with the FG.
