Locus: explosive, Minmatar colors, Minmatar names like Thukker, clearly Minmatar.
Flux: green Gallente color, Gallente corp names like Allotek, clearly Gallente.
AV: angular and blue like Caldari stuff, Caldari names like Wiyrkomi, clearly Caldari
All the races have their own grenades types, except for the Amarr. Drop uplinks (which look obviously Amarr) are wormhole technology, which show that the Amarr have some proficiency is manipulating spacetime. I propose an Amarr temporal grenade, inspired by the chrono grenades from Timeshift multiplayer.
A temporal grenade creates a bubble in which time moves twice as slow. This means those caught in the bubble would move twice as slow, reload twice as slow, perform animations twice as slow, their guns would have half of their normal fire rate, they would stay in the air twice as long when jumping, and non-hitscan weapons would travel through the bubble twice as slow.
There could be various variants with different bubble durations, bubble radii, etc.
It would be a useful way to slow down enemies and... who am i kidding, this will never happen. It is way too awesome to ever happen in a game like Dust, i just lost hope while typing this  |

Ships warping is based on bending space, no reason time cannot be bent as well, its all part of the same "fabric". No reason they shouldn't be capable of this, especially on such a small infantry scale. |
