I don't think you did much math, if any.
The SMG is spammable but sucks if you use it as a lead weapon since its damage to shields is terrible.
Reducing the clip size on the AR means that the ASCR should get their clip size reduced. Although reducing the clip size of guns on a game that focuses on spray-and-pray tactics would be counter productive, and the only way I can ever get behind a clip size reduction is if they reduced strafe speeds while hip firing slightly, and significantly reduced movement speeds while in ADS. And if the problem with the AR is that there is just to much damage in its clip then every weapons clip size should be reduced, I personally don't think the forge gun is OP but that thing carries what 5000 damage in its clip? |

Forge Guns are OP yes why would a gigantic railgun be any thing else ???? and in terms of math the SP/FP now can hit roughly 480 in a clip where the SMG can potentially hit over 1000???? the AR , 48 ammo in militia AR, @ 34 dps, the better AR's have 60 in their clip, way to much if you can actually aim the weapon
If people actually stood still then 60 shots in the clip is a lot, but the gun fights in this game are crab dances. When crab dancing is nerfed then the clip can be reduced.
Also the scrambler pistol has about 1000 damage in its clip if all shots are head shots, and the flaylock has splash damage which is pretty valuable. |
