Inspired by a similar thread on another IGS.
So, when the battles are fought, contracts have been fulfilled and the ISK is paid and you want to wind down a bit from all the fighting, what do you do?
Personally, I hop on to my leisure clone and explore New Eden with the ISK I accumulated to buy transport, I've already visited several planets, landmarks and other locations, such as the EVE Gate, Jita V-V, Black Monolith and of course my homeplanet Intaki. When in my quarters, I usually take care of my emissary and check if anything new has been built to the Summit, and discuss matters with other capsuleers and clone soldiers.
I also eat food rations and drink water when I'm feeling hungry(you can't imagine how hungry you can get after hours of fighting with nothing but nutrients injected into you), they taste surprisingly good. And finally, I tend to visit the Auever Beach quite often, it's a lovely place to relax in and has rich sealife, very interesting to observe when deepsea exploring with a dropsuit. |

It depends largely on where my latest op takes place. If I enjoy a place enough, I will stay for a short while and take in the culture of the region. Sometimes you just need to step away from all the action. There have been times when I have forgotten what birds or children playing sounds like, which only makes it all the more beautiful when I finally hear it again. It is not uncommon for me to take a leave of absence for a few days and blow the sum of a contract on a well needed vacation.
Otherwise, there are other methods I use to pass the time. I used to enjoy taking pencil sketches of locations or people I have met... Though I stopped doing it as frequently when I noticed the images I would depict became more and more macabre. Flipping through my sketchbook you begin to see a change from drawings of stray dogs our a raised flag to insect ridden skulls and smashed drones.
Then there are times when I just hit the wall. Instead of trying to keep active or make some constructive I will slip into a maddening slump were I will simply sit in my quarters and pass countless hours watching pay-per-view programming while dipping into a supply of crash that I only use on gloomy days. I once fell so far that I resorted to only eating biofoam and nutrient gel for a whole week while I just laid on my couch and blasted Kaijuya from my sound system. (Their old stuff, not the new garbage.)
The only way I ever get out of that slump is if I apply myself to doing some R&D project to take my mind off the world. I will buy up a skillbook and download it before spending nearly countless hours trying to build a better VTOL or dropsuit fitting until I am satisfied. Even when these late-night experiments fail my flight crew (though trying they may be at times) are always there to cheer me up with a series of dirty jokes and anecdotes.
Of course, if that doesn't work then Shoashu Sasaanko is always my station away from home. I will fight in a few Slayer matches to get my spark back, then see a good friend of mine who owns a cabaret there. She always sorts me out. The Guristas there treat me like family, and I am always happy to see them. |

That is my rank within the Praetoriate. I am a Templar Crusader. Also my name is Kador Ouryon.
Someday I hope to become a Templar Vanguard, which will announce my veteran status on the from lines of FW. |

I won't discuss PIE command structure. Suffice to say that command is serious about ranks. When you earn it you get it, and not a moment before hand.
I absoliutely love that about PIE, because if I ever want to become a merc leader for PIE I have to improve myself and how I see the battlefield. |

When I am not fighting for a united universe or called to the premises of this Summit or deep in prayer, there's not much I do as far as leisurely activities. I'd like to take a pilgrimage across the Empire, but much of my time is restricted with business in the Mimen system with the Emperor Family Bureau. With my free time I will relax in my quarters there and further my studies, mainly history and theology. I also spend much time petitioning to various divisions within the Empire to ramp up the production speed of vehicle and pilot suits so they can hit the mercenary market sooner to better aid our forces in battle. |

Me? Relax, usually. If I'm not chatting with my doctor or scanning merc websites or forums, I'm probably out and about on the station for some chore or another. Occasionally I'll exercise, just to keep this body in shape, while once in a while I'll take a shuttle to see the family or see the Doc's. It's also fun to check out the news feeds for what those roaming Space Bastards are up to, along with any idiocies the four Empires are perpetrating. Of course, there's also the occasional suit tweak and budgeting for the month.
Oh, and I write in my diary. A lot. |

I like to make recipes and find ways to cook on the battlefield. Granted, when you're in for a long battle you have to make do with whatever you can find, but I've come up with a spice mix that can improve the taste of field rations and most local game (that I've come across, anyway). I've also invented a fitting (patent pending) for the barrel of a laser rifle that diffuses the beam enough to allow for the cooking of food. And, if you're feeling adventurous, find a heavy buddy to hold a forge gun charge and try cooking some Forge Gun Fowl! If his finger slips off the trigger, well, at least the dead bird had one last flight. o7 When I have enough Isk for spare clones, I sometimes go on an Xtreme Taste TestGäó. These places are hard to find, but trust me it's worth it. Nothing quite like the taste of raw uranium! |

I mostly just go out to one of the observation platforms on the station and stare at the stars. If I'm not doing this I'm usually on a starship to help against boarding parties, not very lucrative, but it helps out the locals and reduces the tension some so I don't mind. |

I usually train my hand to hand combat and knife skills. When I train my mind, I usually go about making designs for New weapons, suits, modules and vehicles. Most are no more than interesting concepts, they will reverse the light of day, though I keep a record of them regardless.
I have recently developed an interest in music, art and architecture. Music, I only listen to it. Some Minmatar Villager gave me a custom flute for saving her village, but I never figured out how to manipulate the buttons and knobs. Art, I suck at making it, but I take some nice pictures. Architecture wise, I have been thinking of making a home, remote quiet place, wide open green fields. Asides from finding a place like that, it's going to cost a lot of ISK to settle and a lot more ISK and work to keep peaceful.
I also star gaze. Another thing I have started to do when on long deployments on the ground is amateur archeology. I have found some odd artifacts, very old artifacts...
I use to do attend a lot of prayer sessions, as I am a born again Amarr. Though, I am from a branch that denounces slavery.
We'll that's it I guess. I'm quite a busy little clone ^_^ |
