I had a similar issue...but even slower internet...it took me 12h to download the game and 16h to patch it...I think the best idea would be to put the updated client into the store, so you don't have to patch it at all.

Default spawn is random. That is a big part of the problem. No rules like 'not within X meters of an enemy' or similar, that's why you spawn in the back of enemies or right in front of a tank.

Seriously. All this is right now, is a glorified main menu. Without a world outside of the battlefields, there is no reason to having to endure a loading screen for what the MQ currently offers.
