I haven't checked since the hotfix, but when you're in a squad only they can spawn from the uplinks. When you aren't in a squad everyone else that is also not in a squad can spawn off it. I've dropped an uplink then made a squad and my uplink was...

I use the GLU tactical. It has 15 rounds per clip so your shots need to count. Ive had to invest SP elsewhere, but once i get enough im going to use the devolle tact.

Could the dropships get an autopilot feature? Say your the only one in the ship, if you switch seats to use a turret the dropship will just hover and not fall out of the sky.
