Level 2 Nanocircuitry for compact nanohives is quite cheap, and means you can run a basic plate instead, and gain 85 armor points. Alternatively, I think you'll find a flux scanner is great for finding people to pick off at your scrambler's optim...

Any time you spend bleeding out reduces your spawn timer by up to 7 seconds. However, if you're instantly killed, you must wait the full ten seconds to spawn.

also, training amarr assault to V means even with zero skill points in laser rifle, a standard LR won't overheat until 20/100 ammo.
