Maybe its because the hit detection seems worse due to the higher strafe speeds? If we get higher strafe speeds we need obvious fps game mechanics.

LAV's can be more of a powerhouse than HAV's if you think about it. All my complaining led to HAV's being nerfed. It's very hard to destroy an LAV because they are too fast.
