With the above being said, it is hard to predict how the game will feel/play, it could feel better it could feel worse. Either way I think initially it will be a bit of a shock to what we are used to.

With the changes to damage etc. for various weapons and to the proficiency changes also I think that weapon combos will become far more important in 1.8 than previously.
