How exactly did you work out his was using 3 x Damage mods? Because as far as I know you can't see those stats by looking at the suit or if that person told you; are you sure they weren't trolling you?

After getting salvage you should check in your assets if you did indeed get the salvage, as theres a bug where it doesn't actually give you the items... very annoying I know >.<

I would advise you to make the corporation on EVE Online, seeing how it requires next to no skill and you don't need to GÇ£wasteGÇ¥ your Dust SP on building for more members. Also you will have so much better control over the corporation mechanic...
