I can't think of a single game with terrain deformation, except that game by lucas arts. Um whatsit called. That would be cool, craters and such caused by orbital strikes. Hide in them, use them as cover. Like a real battlefield.

If your dead can we just hot-drop in our vehicle maybe within a range of a the initial spawn point. Nothing would be more epic than a co-ordinated drop of tanks with pilot already inside. Would be like the sci fi equivalent of the d-day landing...
