I had this happened to my today and it was so frustrating. I was point blank behind a guy and shot 3 at him and it went right throug him, it also happened when it hit the ground and not explode.

That drives me crazy too, they DO think its a gunship and when I land they wont get out because most if the time it 2 teammates and they are on the guns lol. I'm like go secure it there is no one here and jump back in to myself.

Yea I think I'm going to stick to the ground as well, when this happened to me I was like " wow no kitten" in disbelief and just turned it off it just so frustrating. I know people say you have to keep moving and flying around getting low and goin...

That's crazy I got destroyed 2 times in like 5 min total flying a Dropship. Both time I didn't even have time to react, what could possibly do that that quick. I know I was hit at least once in both occasions by swarms but damn! Flying a Dropship ...

I practiced on the big map back near the home spawn point, its pertty safe and there are areas to practice landing and maneuver around .

That's some good news , as I do really like flying them because it fits my play style. Logistics is the only other class I play the most because I enjoy the helping and support classes.

I understand people saying that dropships are being miss used as gunships, that's because right now thats about the only role they have a chance in or getting wp and sp with. Even with the new point system for dropships coming soon it won't change...

Dropship should be able to be stationary for seconds like 10 or so for proper and safe passengers drop off I think or they will scattered all over the place. I agree they should be on the move but the should still be able to take a few hits while ...

What about staying stationary while the gunners provide cover fire while the passengers secure the objective, is an appropriate time for being stationary for a short time and not worry about getting thrown around? A dripship should be able to take...

Just don't see how dropships get thrown around so bad by swarm missiles, if you put fireworks around and on a small brick and light them off the brick dosent move or if it does its not much. Sure it might have damage but it won't be in the neighbo...
