So I'm in faction warfare, match just started and I called an LAV. I get in, my squad mate gets in and I just start to back up when my side taps a heavy standing next to my LAV... I get kicked and then banned from faction warfare for 24hrs for tea...

Not sure if this is the true reason but, the changes do seem like they are pushing you to use shield regulators or have the same shield delay as an armor suit. The use is still the same, flank.
