I hate snipers too, not on the enemy side, but when they are on my team they are useless. I actually love to snipe but I don't do it because I know I am not actually contributing to the team. Or I use it under 50m, Musketeer style.

The Gallante already benefit more from running reppers than just stacking plates. Generally a Gallante Assault suit shouldn't have more than 1 plate.

You don't run faster; you only turn faster. It looks like you rum faster because your model moves his hands more, but the illusion is also present on the Sniper Rifle which appears to run very fast when it does not.
