That's cool. I hope to be around a while, I think this game has some legs. Probably will try to get into a corp at some point, same with EVE. Need to do more missions in Eve first though. But thanks and have fun.

As I have played a bit I think the issue is more class based then old vs new. I think the militia gear helps a lot when it comes to old vs new. But all games of this size require some tweaking, this one will be no different.

People are unbalanced, doesn't make it desirable. I personally am not as concerned about new player vs old as much as I am about them balancing some of the classes a little better. And I am certain they will.

I think if there was one thing I would tell a new player, it's use Militia gear. Someone made this point a while back. And, as far as I can tell it is the single most important point in having success in this game. Obviously you need skill as well...
