A heavy on a point with a shotgun would make a very nice defense weapon for a mode like domination... what ever, just let my scout use a HMG and we will call it even.

If people want extra health for their infrantry suits then they should spec... not just throw a few SP into a suit that can run any gun in the game with insane amounts of health....
