Normally during a match, you would restock a dropsuit by buying the whole thing with the weapons and equipments included. But here's the problem. We would already have some of those equipments in stock and we still have to pay a hefty price for the whole thing again. The only way to get the items separately would have to be accessed on foot rather than during respawning. But the dropsuit still have to be purchased even when we have the equipments ready. It is time consuming and can be exposed to enemy fire when refitting or restocking on foot. I made the same mistake re-purchasing the entire outfit repeatedly without paying for each of the items separately in the Merc Quarter. It was very costly. I propose that a friendlier user-friendly UI to allow optional, re-purchasable items rather than just the entire dropsuit with the equipments attached. What do you guys think? |

This was mentioned at fanfest. There wasn't much of a straight answer. I'm pretty sure just restocking the bits that were missing to get up to X amount of suits was default in the closed BETA (anyone remember?). I'm not sure why they got rid of it TBH.
You can edit suits at the spawn screen, and restock individual items without spawning, I've done it before. But it is time consuming and a pain in the butt, so +1 for better restocking interface |

afaik it got changed in Uprising, before it would only restock the modules needed for a complete fit.
I believe this was changes so that we could actually know what a complete refit cost rather than just some small modules.
I personally prefer it this way as it shows me exactly what a fit costs me.

GFU. We're focusing on the majority of the players with this issue, not you. Not many people would have that much suits, so it's irrelevant. I barely have any. |

Two simple options on the screen would do the trick:
1) Restock items required; 2) Restock all
Stating the obvious I know but if I can see that's what the interface needs a GUI designer should have seen that already!
I get this all the time as I have fits with common items, shiled extenders for example I have on all my fits, so those deplete much more quickly than fit specific items if I'm switching it up in a match as I usually would.

Way back in the early days there was a "Restock entire fitting to" option where you could simply enter in the number of a fitting you wanted and it was done, I don't know why they removed it. |

Why would you need to restock in the middle of a battle anyway, even as an average low-ISK player I keep my suits running above 50 copies at all times and that's with like 20+ fittings ranging from MLT to Proto. The most I've EVER had in my wallet at one time is 7mil, what's your excuse? |

Read OP again. Also, I'm proto Logi, which is very expensive. I can't very well keep 50 copies of proto logi unless I play that much using only milita or starter kits to save that much ISK and I won't do it. I have a life. Not many people would keep that much copies like you or one of the other guys who was trolling earlier. |
