Go look at that research thread, should help you understand the numbers a little better. Dropship controls are actually fine, though the gallente's handling needs some serious work to let it compete with the caldari, AR's got hit by SS removal and other range nerfs too, as for the other stuff, yeah that needs to be fixed, but I noticed your post missed over the range of good things that happened in uprising too.

The "vets" have made their views quite clear, and not all of them were negative, I might add. I happen to be such a "vet", as I got in for Replication, and I want to play Uprising more than I ever wanted to play Replication or the other builds. I've had to subsist by keep up with streams, and several of those have been praising the new mechanics as well. There needs to be a voice of something other than negativity on here right now.

Notably the HMG is horrible. I sat on the edge of a proto's HMG in my mini light frame and tanked it until my AR killed the poor guy. TAC-ARs are a little silly atm. Missing tanks. But mechanically, the build feels a lot better than Chromosome. Driving feels better, movement feels better, aiming can be finicky but it was finicky in Chromosome too. Enjoying it overall, but I'm really feeling for the guys that got their favorite playstyles ripped out from underneath them.

But see, I have a Director in my Corp who went 12/0 with an HMG just last night, and the game before that he did even better.

I dont need to do research as you put it, im commenting on the bad aspects of uprising, the core gameplay. Iv read through the drivel that is this forum where most people have the inteligence of a worm (Its bound to happen more oftan then not on a dev visited forum). Im fine with some things in this game, the SS remove is perfectly fine, the aiming being so awful im not. Im sorry if I among MANY MANY others have standards.

Killing people is hella hard and I'm prof level ar skills I'm getting 20+ assists almost every game. (I don't dislke this) My biggest complaint are the nano hives I eat the things by myself with just the ar being out of ammo. Its not bad it just needs love. One more thing the fov you ever tried using a forward facing camera to see with? How bout wearing a HAZMAT suit. I always assumed this was why fov was not crazy wide.
