Why not add n a diminishing returns type of mechanic for every individual battle? One that affects war points, and how much sp is gained per war point. So for example:
(These numbers are all made up to give you all a basic idea of what I am talking about.)
Player A gained his first kill/ first batch of wp for that match. (50) for every war point he gained, he also gained 10 sp. Thats 500 sp for that kill. As time goes on, the amount of sp he gains per war point begins to drop. At some point, if player A is doing really well, and has gained around 3500 wp. He'll eventually reach a point where the war points he gains will only reward him one sp per wp. He's still able to grind to get much as he wants, the sp per wp ratio won't lower any more then 1 sp per war point, so there is still some incentive to play.
This also give new players the ability to keep up with those at the top of the score board. They may only get a few hundred wp. But they'll still get a healthy lump of sp from that fight. Snipers won't whine for getting the short stick of sp. AFKers will be rewarded with nothing, And so and so forth.
Get rid of the so gained per second bull, and do something like this.
Forgive any typos, or other types of errors. I'm typing this up on my phone, and auto correct is not being kind to me. |

Second the easiest solution is to make in game actions more rewarding then time spent in game. Additionally add a win bonus and a loss deduction (no doubt this would create some rather interesting rage but would certain make people fight harder for the win) Or maybe just the win bonus and just normal accumulation for the loss. Of course this needs to be balanced for vehicles who should get WP for in game actions such as troop transport for x meters carried on a vehicle multiplied by the number of passengers. For tanks perhaps increase their WP generation for kills and destruction since they wont come across as much perhaps. IDK but these are some simple and obvious ways to incentivize players to actually play.
Third and most diffiicult solution is to get gud scrubs and stop relying on the AFKers to get carried. Get your gun game up, devlop some SA and stop being such a noob that cowers and hides the first instant you get shot. learn to use cover, tactics and squads. Stop moving like a giant blob getting farmed over and over because you don't know how to push square instead of X. Learn to teamfire, learn to not shoot me in the back, learn to flank, learn to use vehicles to move to objectives quicker, learn to take an objective, learn to defend an objective, learn that when an enemy tank is on the field having half the team switch to starter AV while the other half protects them LOL's tanks easy(assuming you are brand spanking new) Otherwise half the team using packed AV's alongside 2-3 really solid skilled AV(lvl 3 with some dmg mods) will eff up every tank because
AV>V=FACT.
In other words stop being a leech and expect to be carried every step of the way and learn to play the game, learn to be versatile and adapt and not expect the vets to do everything for you, we're too bitter and quite tired of this game as it is.
Give us a challenge where it isn't a redline inside of 5 minutes followed by 10 mins of you whiny brats redline sniping instead of even remotely trying a counter offensive and i'll consider leaving my guard post in the MCC. I don't want to learn.
