I'm tired of all these request of a NO tank mode....
I want an ALL tanks mode, 2 million to get in, 1 life, if you die you're OUT, no prisoners no mercy, winners take all the bids.

I rather like this to be honest. A lot of the HAV weapons need to be adjusted significantly to even make this an option, but I'd enjoy playing it. |

Yes, Yes. Tank Ambush. All dropship would be cool too, just would have to have a crew since DS has no pilot controlled weapon.
I mentioned in another thread that a LAV Race mode would be cool. Could do like a GTA race variation where pairs of mercs race through the checkpoints while blasting at one another. Would take some serious programming but hey, we all got a few years to wait right? |

Tanks have also logistic modules like the armor repper or shield recharger, i never saw anybody use them and would be a way to gain (or lose) a large amount of Isk to buy new tanks, if you lose one in skirmish or ambush it will take at least 3 match too gain enough Isk to cover your costs.
High risk, high reward, currently skirmish is high risk, little reward. |

yeah tank battles sounded good until I thought about it costing 10 mil ISK in 1 match. Maybe if they did it like a last man standing battle. |

This could definitely be an interesting game mode, but I think we would need some new and larger maps for something like this. Also, would it only be the tank pilot, or will you be able to have gunners along with you? Further, would you be able to have a logi LAV for backup or only tanks?
Also, I like the one life and you are out game mode, in fact they should also make an ambush/team death-match where you only have 1 life. It would really force people to work as a team, instead of loan wolfing. |
