Anyway vehicle wise we'll have to see how the AV stuff and groupin works im more concerned how the core fps mechanics still need alot of work

The reason we're all saying "go back to CoD town" is because there's no meaning in your gameplay. Might have better mechanics - maybe - but at the end of the match what did you accomplish? A new unlock? A new prestige level? Congratulations, you're one of a few million.

I'm willing to over-look petty non-sense in a BETA of an EXPERIMENTAL game that HAS NEVER BEEN ATTEMPTED BEFORE in which all of my choices and decisions have PERMANENT CONSEQUENCES in a PERSISTENT world.

I'm sorry but most people don't really give two ***** about EVE and it's persistent world other than the EVE players. Most of us are just looking for a decent shooter that supports games larger than 12v12 so we can get all our buddies into matches together without having to break up groups.

Soooo go play MAG. Eve Online is a Niche game, there's nothing else like it - and Dust 514 is going to be the same way. It's a -persistent- realm where actions and consequences matter. If you can't overlook petty stupid gameplay mechanics that don't equally match/directly rip-off your favorite mind-numbing shooter than you're playing the wrong game.

Most people don't give two ***** about Eve? Fine - leave. You're in -OUR- game and CCP has made it -very- clear that the opinions and feedback of Eve players over-shadows yours. I'm sure the CSM would agree in this aspect.

You do realize that CCP has stated several times, that while they are catering to the EVE community, they DO want to make this a AAA FPS that ppl from other FPS games will want to play?!? They want to it be familiar to EVE players, and not "break" EVE with it's interactions... but they do want FPS gamers to play this too.

I won't be too harsh, but reality is that they want the numbers to keep climbing so they can test servers with larger populations of ppl. Except that after ppl play they get turned off, so player population has been 2 steps forward, 2 steps back.
