controls have been off for months, seriously needs improving, i have said this for a looong time my last 3 games have been cod, then bad company 2 , then bf3 , all of wich i feel in control and am skillful at, in dust it feels clunky , hipfire feels ok but hipfire range seems too accurate and too far, wich feels better than ads,but ads is terrible. feels so slow unresponsive and hard to track a fast moving target while firing (my experience with the ar's) hopefully is better with deadzone fix and aim assist fix. all of this can be improved tho.
nice to see patch notes where you can melee from reload and sprint from crouch, movement is still clunky over some terrain i feel too. throwing grenades doesnt feel natural either. all can be improved, also i feel they listen more to the pc/eve players more than the console crowd, i hope they understand how important balance between the controls are. (ccpnothin listens tho , much respect to that guy)
do ccp play any console fps games ?, i hope so :D
the mmo elements in the game are solid, please focus on the fps ones, get em tight and responsive, battlefield and cod are the companies you will be competing againsed, have bf4 and black ops 2 on the roadmap, make sure your able to take on these big hitters for players :) wich i hope you can do as i would really like ccp to make this game a massive successs. |

i think personally, most players will be in highsec, as a fair few wont really care about eve at all, and just want a good shooter to play with there friends when they can, and some pve and lone wolf players looking for a quick game, most console gamers are like this, but there are still loads of clans that will be in nullsec too, but i do think there will be more in highsec for sure, that may or may not join nullsec groups eventually. as long as ccp make the game fun and fresh every so often with new content, they should be on to something good. |
