Come on CCP, add the very thing that make EVE players scream with leetful joy. Add the sandbox.
Add the ability to rob a merc! I don't mean just stripping the corpse of bling either. I mean hold them up pirate style and stand and deliver.
I feel this would bring balance to this game because then the infantry whiners would have some recourse to facing almost certain death.
The whiner walks away with his clone, I get some loot to sell and trade.
Perfect marriage.

What risk would there be to rob a merc?
Unlike EVE clones, Dusters clones arn't expensive nor can we modify our skills with implants (only the speed which we learn). Some EVE clones can cost up two a hundred million isk before even augmenting them.
Also if you did lose your clone in EVE and didn't update your replacement clones to fit all your skills, you can lose tons of skill points. I've heard tales of tens of thousand of SP (eqvuilant to few months of skill training) being lost this way.
So I ask again, what would be the incentive to hand over my ISK and my gears when it really isn't that expensive?

You would lose the suit you are in. Oh, say an APEX. You keep your clone becauseGǪ I don't know, seems people really worry about there clones. It depends on which thing you are more concerned about.
No, seriously, adding new mechanics such as implants et al would factor in, but you could go the other way and say suicide to keep that nice BPO.
I'm just joshing anyway. Better to kill and loot it. That's he real beauty. You can lose your aurum stuff.
Hey, now we have a reason to allow APEX suits to be player fitted!

And why do we even have to get skill points from matches? Why can't we just shoot off to Jove space and face punch the SP out of those Jovian bastards?!
And why do we have to get weapons from the market place? Why can't we get them from inside rainbows?!
And why do have to reload? Why can't we have the same reload gloves from Ultraviolet?!
And why do we only have Faction Warfare for the Four Empires? Why can't we swear fealty to the Talocan?!
