I suppose that while the guys at Bungie wanted destiny to last 10 years, I suppose activision wanted another CoD, w/ the hate CoD is getting. Just going of the past behavior of activision and their franchises (mainly, CoD) Might be a few years after now though. Bungie likes having space for their games, working on a 2 year release cycle. Destiny "2" might be a while away. I am honestly a very hard apologist, and I can love Destiny for the absolutely amazing gameplay, even if the story is very meh. Of course, a story would be amazing, but the lack of one doesn't kill me. Provided it isn't constantly rehashed gameplay as CoD is. Destiny brought a different flavor of FPS to the table, and while It may have forgot The Sprinkles and Chocolate Sauce of story, It still brought that Neapolitan to my lap. Maybe the DLC will bring some story to the game (Maybe a prologue...), I can still sit down routinely, binge on some patrol and say I got my moneys worth. IMO. Of course, I will still hold Bungie to their promise this time. STORY OR DEATH. If they rehash the gameplay in the "sequel", and don't bring the sprinkles, I will be very, very upset. I already ate half the Neapolitan. Either bring both, or bring new flavor. And while I doubt there will be another flavor on the way (Bungie seems to like keeping the flavor between games in a series), I think that now they have a platform to jump off, Destiny "2" has a much better potential for telling a story. The liquid that Bungie and Activision took in with Destiny should be used in the effective way possible to improve on the incredible gameplay that was brought in Destiny "1". Also PC Edition.
