I've been thinking about what kind of new game modes CCP could implement in order to give a GREAT fresh air to Dust (even more than new maps IMO). So I chatted with Theex today and some of these ideas here are from him:
Capture: A game mode based on what we can already have in uncharted 2-3 or resistance multiplayer. Let's say there are 5 points in the map. All numbered from 1 to 5.The A team must hack the point 1 then 2, 3, 4, and 5 while team B will have to hack 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. Players can only hack a point if the one coming before on the list belong to them. (Ex: you are on the A team and only have point 1. You can't hack point 3 unless you take point 2 first.) It could be a great way to have battles in many different places of a single map instead of focusing the fight in one (cf Domination mode).
Rush: For all those who played BF, you know that this mode can only exist with huge maps. The objective of it is to have a defending and attacking team which protect/attack 2 points at the same time. If both points are taken, kill count is reset and everybody moves to a new part of the map. If the attack team fail by losing to many clones or because of time, defenders win! Now as I said, it requires huge maps. But I'm sure I'm not the only one who noticed that we can go to many other maps if we fly fast enough with a DS outside the redline. Which means that the maps are already charged by the ps3! Why not using them!? We could have a rush mode crossing many maps of the game as the match will go. With the new caldari structures coming this could create many types of maps!
I dont think that both of these game modes requires a lot of development as everything needed has already been created. Maybe the rush mode a little more than the Capture one but it's doable! Tell me what you think about it, it's all open to proposition of course! I hope I made myself clear enough
Sorry for my bad english.

Attackers lose if they run out of clones or if they take too long, resulting in their mcc being destroyed. Defenders have no mcc or clone limit. Same idea as the Rush one without moving from map to map, love it!
