Ambush (and the Dust 514 brand in general) are being ruined by six-man proto squads who continually run nothing but Ambush.
There are not enough competitive full squads to ever balance this either, as ambush has the most solo players of the game types.
Hence the best solution: limit squad size to 4 for Ambush. This will check the effectiveness of full squads, and spread out newer and solo players among the teams.
Who cares what some sniper has to say

Good then two squads of 4 can sync and then there will be 8 protostopmers to contend with.
OR....
CCP could understand that this matchmaking system does not work with the current player count and FIX IT.
Half the problems in this game are caused by the terrible player count compared to what the systems were built for and CCP overlooks it while also not doing anything to grow the game. |

The only answer to stop the "protostopmping" is to make modes where squads are not allowed at all. Everyone for themselves. To be honest the most frustrations players have comes from squads of people that all wear proto gear most of the time. This would allow both sides have a chance at win and would not be one sided. And the matches could actually be much more fun and flexible. Especially more interesting, then just groups of tanks everywhere, with proto squads all around. That is not fun, it ruins all the fun for the other side where there are no squads, and the matches right now feel the same without much diversity in actions.

Removing squads reduces the one and only thing this game has going for it, the social hook. Without people being able to work with their friends while having a good time the login count will go from 4000ish at a time to a few hundred at a time while all those people login elsewhere that they can participate in a social enviroment.

Well I see your point, but that is not what I am trying to say, without squads the players would have to learn how to cooperate anyways, and that is how it should be, plus I am not saying to remove squad play. It would be for the players who don't enjoy being in a groups or corporations.

Makes sense, just stating that it goes against the one and only thing that has kept this game alive through the incredible ups and downs everyone has dealt with in it.
In reality if they would release team deploy as they have mentioned before both sides of this discussion would be nulled by leaving only the crap proto players that are scared to lose a little bit of isk to fight it out with the randoms while those looking for real games move on to bigger and better matches.

2 squads attempting to Q sync a pub have just as much chance of facing against each other as being on the same team.
Do you any suggestion to improve matchmaking? Or are you happy to just cry "CCP fix it!"

I can handle pub matches. But if I squad with my Corp and stomp ambush all day then I'm part of the problem I'm posting about.
I'm speaking for new players. New players often don't have squad mates or corps to turn to. They hop in ambush by themselves (which is fine) and get completely annihilated by proto tryhards.
Ambush is the most casual of the game types. 6 man squads is honestly overkill. If you want to be a coordinated team using tactics, go play real matches for objectives.
4 man squad sizes for Ambush would help

Matchmaking seems like it would work great with higher player counts based on what I saw during the MCC. Until higher player counts are achieved consistently my only thoughts on improving matchmaking will slow queue times and potentially make the problem grow instead.
Team deploy would be a step in the right direction by pulling away some of the people that are looking to actually play competitive squad matches.
