no, the problem then would be that in the case of a redline or no more objectives. anyone spawning in would just be instantly swatted.

What all that different the the current situation? You spawn in and get killed before you can make it to anyplace useful.
CCP you better nail 1.8, as it stands 1.7 is a total disaster.

1. make all vehicles show up on the map at all times. Currently it runs off of team LOS if they show up on the map.
2. remove every other red slash on the redline on the map.
If they want to hide in the redline, We should at least be able to see them easy.
Best PVE idea I've seen.

Or just reduce the range of railguns so that they work more like heavy damage cannons for tanks. Give them more range than missiles but more like the range of a forge gun. Itd save alot of things like dropships the bs of being shot down from across the map by an opportunistic coward hiding behind a invisible wall of death that nobody can breach.

Remove redline completely, add bubble shields or bunkers that don't allow shots in or out (and also allow safe vehicle spawns).

move the red line border to less absurd locations; let the terrain be the shield, we have craters on some map where if the redline border moved thru the center of crater, the only way to shoot out of that is to leave the crater and thus you leave the redline as you move out and over the edge of the crater, towards the objectives. large turrets could therefor be placed inside the crater- unable to shoot out of the crater, but if a camping enemy peeks over edge of crater he sees the large turrets staring back at him.
currently it's spawn on the side of a hill and fire down from the redline from a pre elavated location, instead of having to leave a crater, that since it's a crater the only way the enemy can fire into it is to go over it's protecting lip/berm. the only way you can fire out of it is to leave the redline.
u can ban the troll out of the forums but u can't ban the forums out of the troll.

So for example if you where standing directly on the redline, you do 30% less damage and decreasing the further you go into your redline. the reduction could be canceled 50m out from the redline. The idea of this is to not only discourage redzone sniping/railgun tanks, but to also discourage them from litterally hovering at the redline and then retreating the moment they get into trouble.

if you do that to all vehicle turrets it would screw up ads turrets too. just shorten the rang on large ones would be better
