So Denesian Morenti and his fiance Feminem bought each other Battlefield 4 for Christmas and they were telling me about it, due to their frustrations with Dust and it got my excited about it....so I went and bought it.
Battlefield 4 is a whole 'nother story than Dust, but I wanted to talk about all things Dust 514 and Battlefield 4.
Battlefield 4 has tanks, helicopters, 4 wheelers and more! The vehicles are really balanced and they are DEADLY but also pretty easily dealt with. There are tons of Anti-Infantry weapons and options so the playing field for vehicle and infantry is level and well balanced.
Battlefield 4 doesn't have the customization and RPG elements that Dust does, and that sort of sucks because that's one of the things I really love about Dust 514.
It barely lags at all though and that is pretty amazing....it runs on DICE dedicated servers so there is no freaking room for lag switching, which is EPIC to say the least. I'm sure there are still modded controller users on there because cheaters are like Obama, ruins everything and you can't get rid of them.
But Dust 514's RPG skill tree is useless due to the TTK. That sort of bugs me...I spend all my time grinding out SP for all the skills but it seems people kill me just as fast with the militia AR as I kill them with my Duvolle AR. So I don't see how the RPG skill tree makes any difference at all.
In Battlefield 4 you have to use assault, engineer, recon and support classes and grind it out to get better weapons, more options, more vehicles, the ability to customize your weapons ect
(Dust 514 needs the ability to customize weapons.....think Mass Effect 1/2/3)
Overall...I think Battlefield 4 is a HELL of a lot better than sh!tty COD Ghosts or any of those COD games. I think Dust 514 is a better game than Battlefield 4...but Battlefield 4 is a HELL of a lot more balanced.
I vote CCP and Dice get together and hash out the best First Person Shooter / RPG game ever :D |

Uhhuh....unnecessary point to make because I am well aware Dust runs on dedicated servers. But guess what? COD doesn't...and they lag switch the crap out of it.

I saw something wrong in your thread and attempted to correct you. Sorry that you thought it was a challenge to your intelligence. I'll just let you be wrong next time. The title says Dust 514 vs. BF4. This implies you are comparing the two titles. By saying "...it runs on DICE dedicated servers" you are giving the implication that Dust does not have dedicated servers. Also, just because I mentioned CoD doesn't mean I like the game. I was providing an example used solve a problem that takes roots from modded controllers. Treyarch found out a way to beat mods, but not lag switchers.......go figure.
Honestly? I feel like CoD CAN beat the cheaters...they just won't because it will cost them money. These idiots go out and spend $100 on a modded controller, around $25.00 building a lag switch and $65 on the newest COD game, right?
If they stopped modded controllers from being used and stopped lag switchers...I bet 1/3rd of their clientele would not buy the game and they'd lose mega bucks. Cheating doesn't make enough players STOP playing so by not defeating the evil dastardly ways OF the cheaters...they make more money.
Its a bullshit business model...#nitwits. |
