I am still getting the shield crackle with no damage remove from my enemies. It has gotten better since the fix but still needs some work as it is the difference between life and death for my scout. Thank you.

why have i never noticed any of these "massive" hit detection issues.
my mlt shot gun seems to work fine for me.
all ive noticed is that they rnt effective at any range farther than nova knife range.
yet still extremely deadly. |

From what I can tell, shotguns looks perfect at this point. Hell, I was doing fine with just the militia shotty and I don't have any skills invested in it.
CCP, thank you for hotfixing the knives. But please make sure they're at their full potential in 1.7.

I could be lag. All I'm saying is that my shotgun registers just fine all thru a game and then I'll be right behind an enemy and pull the trigger. BAM! Shield crackle but no reduction in shield or armor. So is that lag or is there a random hit detection problem? I know at least two others that have recieved the same problem. And shottys don't need to be needed by any means.

Shotgun works pretty good atm but there are still moments when HD seems to be off. Not as often as before but still there..

I've blue-flared only a handful of times since the fix. It tends to occur only during framerate drops or (strangely) when shooting at an opponents legs (i.e. target elevated or bunny hopping).
Have to agree with Rynoceros though. I can live with these rare limitations. SG Hit Detection is vastly better than before; its often best to leave good enough alone. |

Mine does blue shielding from time to time, sometimes it doesn't shoot, etc.
I guess that's the price I pay for buying militia items. |

Yeah, the shotgun experiences random glitches like this from time to time.
Madness is the emergency exit. You can just step outside, and close the door on all those dreadful things that happened.
