Assists are a good way to reward WPs, who wouldn't agree? But my main problem with this is that we have a 'flat' assist reward system. I believe we need a more dynamic one. I firmly believe that if I take out someone's entire shield and half their armor I should be rewarded more than a person who just shot one bullet into them. I believe the more damage you do to the target, the higher your assist WP payout is.
This should also be implemented to hacking. We shouldn't penalize people just because they came last to hack an installation. The longer you hack the more WPs you get. It shouldn't be a matter of 1st, 2nd, 3rd. |

I'm tired of random blueberries taking the last shot on that Madrugar I've been frantically fighting with the missile turret on top of my tank and to get less isk and fewer war points because of it. If I do most of the work, I should get most of the rewards. Maybe all kills with multiple parties should be labelled kill assists, and kills with a single killer as a solo kill? That, or if you're the person who kills the target and did the least amount of damage to the target then you should have like a 'Vulture Kill' or any name fitting. When you get this type of kill you are rewarded ~25 WPs.
Because I even feel bad when I 'steal' a kill from someone. It doesn't feel right. |

Say you did 83 damage to the target before a sniper round went through them. Now for this you get suppression kill assist: 50 kill assist: 83 total points: 133 points for the kill assist Sometimes you got the suppression assist, sometimes you didn't. Depends how quickly the target was put down and how many rounds went down range. Its a good system but would likely require a lot of work due to the inconsistent shielding and armor of every suit being custom. I think if it goes by a percentage it'd be better. |

That would be the easiest way to replicate that system, most likely. Though as it stands, its likely not going to change to a workload based system. Id rather see the game smoothed in its gameplay and class roles than work on a point gathering overhaul. Personally anyway. I agree. But I'd like to see this implemented at some point in time. |

It wouldn't make sense for the person who dealt the last blow, which is killing someone, not get rewarded for killing.
Maybe the killer gets a small base amount of WP, let's say 20. And then the damage is calculated. If you take out this % of their health then you get +amount of WP. |

Bonus sp is always nice...My main is out of it for the week XD Honesty, though the system does favor the last bullet into the person ( something I hear alot from my heavy teammate when Im on my scout...Cause I like breach pistol headshots ) it is rather good as it is. Lmao, excuse my error. I meant WP.
I wouldn't want to change the requirements of being the killer. Last bullet in = killer. That's if the person died.
But yeah, them breach pistol headshots though.. if only the sniper can copy its ways. |

It may be off topic but with my main account ( Thatd be Ivy Zalinto of Bobbit's Hangmen ) I'm specing into full scrambler pistol, hacking, and dampening. At least those are my priorities. Its rather rewarding to see the heavy running away from ME every now and then. I think my current basic scrambler I calculated out to over 500 damage for a headshot, and I just moved up to enhanced damage mods for my sidearm as well. I love those little pistols. I have to agree. Those pistols are pretty good. |

I get annoyed very often with blueberries that will actually wait for their teammate to get killed before engaging so they can get full credit for a kill doing almost none of the work. They already have this mechanic in the game for hacking objectives. Also yes it hilarious when someone with a AR gets kill credit for a tank i blow up and i get an assist considering i am wielding a forge gun. Exactly. It bothers me a lot. |

Because I even feel bad when I 'steal' a kill from someone. It doesn't feel right. That is stupid. This is a team based game and almost all kills when you are working with a coordinated squad result from the target getting damaged by multiple people. It doesn't matter at all who makes a kill. If anything they should do away with kills and give war points based upon damage done to a clone within 10 sec. of its termination. War points should equal to damage dealt multiplied by .1. Using this scheme a 500hp dropsuit would be worth a maximum of 50 wp. A 1000hp heavy would be worth 100wp total to be divied up among those who damaged the dead clone within the last 10 seconds depending on the damage dealt. An alternate way to deal away with all this messiness concerning kills would be to reward WP based upon the isk value of the suit destroyed providing .001 times the value of the suit in wp. In this scheme a 100,000 isk prosuit (ie a crappy cheap one) would be worth 100wp once again divied up among those who damaged the dead clone within the last 10 seconds depending on the damage dealt. In no way is it stupid for penalizing someone for stealing a kill. Yes, you are correct this is a team-based game. Therefor one person should not reap most of the reward for stealing a kill, instead this should be divided among the team, which is what I'm suggesting. |

Don't touch kills, but Assists NEED to be proportional to percent of total HP destroyed. Exactly. |
