Whether it takes Aurom or a SP penalty you will have far less complaints and people who are griping instead will grin and adapt. Your aimbot is a hot topic. I kill way more people because my gun tracks like crazy and I almost feel bad about it. But you have to see that this is a necessary component to the game. IF it doesn't happen you're gonna have constant AVOIDABLE complaints.

That's the very definition of pay-to-win, man. Boosters to allow you to progress faster is one thing, but allowing you to pay to completely circumvent the progression is something else entirely.

I disagree because of an in game aurom cost is a possibliity. Which absolutely supports your pay to win mentality.

Justification would definitely be made by the mass influx of money I bet every player would pay 5 bucks to get a respect multiply by 10000. Good for CCP and Good for us all.

Breaking gameplay and saying "this is the new new eden, harden up" is starting to put people off. And what's worse, the fans who enjoy watching people play dust are also being put off. So your losing players and fans because you won't implement a system that employs respecs for all players? There can be no FOTM if everyone has the ability to use it. -bazookah

All respec do is have people respec into the next OP weapon. After ever weapon nerf people ask for a respec. Laser nerf Flaylock nerf fused locus nerf Massdriver nerf The trend will just become "well they nerfed the current OP weapon lets respec and move to the next one." It does not make you commit to your FOTM choice you picked and invested SP into because as soon as they nerf the current FOTM you will easily be able to full spec into the next.
