Seriously frustrated after getting onto 1.4, loving the breaking glass sound of shields failing, hating the fact its impossible to damage armor now with the AR, wtf is going on? 
Time to enjoy the new maps from behind a sniper rifle, CCP get on this. |

Remember, health bars dont change size. So, more armor makes it look like you are doing less damage.
More likely than not people are just experimenting with the armor plate buff and have very high armor counts at the moment. |

I don't know, I quite like not being instantly vaporised anymore.
Though admittedly you can still do that even with poor gungame due to the aimbot assist. |

I've managed plenty of kills with AR. Not sure what your problem is.
Check that aimbot is turned off. You might not be used to the game trying to line up your shots for you. I had to turn it off immediately (still need to check if my Shotgun is broken by this like it used to be) |

yea just a little bit lol, basically 1.4 equates to 'not in armor suit not gonna last long'. Unless everybody picks up MDs armor OPness is gonna run amok.
Shame cause theres tons i love about the update, just a shame they broke armor, and no points for scanning enemies when the new UI makes is awesome to have a scanner in squad. Missed opertunity. |

You love the update? Crikey - I'm completely the opposite; but each to their own.
At the moment - getting into a match, takes up to 10 minutes. If I select ambush only, it puts me into skirmish. In game, the aiming feels better, but I feel that noobs are a lot better at shooting, more than they should be. It felt like at one stage, that I was playing vets, the way they were shooting at mid - range; but no, they were a bunch of scrubs.
Someone post and tell me, if they fix things by Friday. |

Armour got given a buff in 1.4
Now armour-tanked suits actually have enough armour to have a chance against ARs.
I've died because of this running one of my (rare) AR fittings, and I'm perfectly happy with the change.
All is right with the world, and I can still take a guy running an Advanced Assault suit well into armour before my Starter Fit dies to his Assault Scrambler. |

Yea and the RDV 'fix' is completely pointless, vehicles still get dropped in random locations and RDVs still dance around for a few mins before dropping anywhere sometimes.
As for armor being useful now, lol. HP is ridiculous, medium suits bouncing around with 700 armor yea ok. |

wouldn't count on sniping....with increased armor i'm expecting a minimum of +1 shot for most targets maybe +2 for heavies. |
