If we can queue a whole team in FW in 1.4, AND we'll have after battle income screens, it won't be long until we can come close to solving pretty close to how isk trickles out of pub matches.
My theory right now is as follows could be figured a few ways...
Base Pay: Contractors pays X isk per mercenary per second of battle. 15 min match @ 100isk/sec = 90,000 ISK.
Biomass Pool: Like PC matches, the system generates X isk (biomass sale) per enemy clone killed per battle. Destruction Pool: A percentage of the isk value of all enemy destroyed goods (destruction rate) is pooled for each team. Bonus Pool: Achieving other unknown objectives (killing installations/ hacking objs) may increase additional isk available to your team.
Merit disbursement Pay:The % of your earnings of the team's WP * the total ISK Pool. So if you earned 25% (2500 of 10000) of your team's WP, and the total bio+destruction+bonus pool was 2 million ISK, then you get 500,000 ISK + your 90K Base pay.
Notes:
When conferring with my team I have found:
-Higher ranked players in a match will not earn less than lower ranked regardless of KDR. -You can earn significant passive income, so reward is somewhat based on time in battle. -Killing high value goods like vehicles as a dedicated AV does not necessarily net you high income. -Some players have posted examples of outlier sincomes while seeming to be very active in covering a lot of objectives.

Well I don't think there is team queing per se, but if you and your corp can all select that you ONLY want to play minmatar battles for FW, more often than not, you will queue into the same battles if you have enough squads. |

I REALLY want to reiterate, that the HUUUGE payouts that people think that "protostompers" are getting isn't because the 'stompers' are so great. It is because, in proportion to the wp that the rest of the team gets, they get so much more.
1) Not rushing at the enemy so that they can get 30-40 kills in 2 mins will help reduce the profit of protostompers. 2) Squadding to maximize the number of orbitals your team can get to instakill PROstompers would help. 3) Having matchmaking so that all team members get roughly the same WP at match end will help combat PRO stompers because their payout will be less making profit become less. |

Or you could simply skip the theory crafting, and read the devblog on War and Profit
That really doesn't say much. I've read it. It is a little misleading. |

I have killed 8+ tanks in one game and the pay out was about 400-500k even tho i killed over 8mil in tanks i get 5%
I have had games where i can do really well and get 3k in WP 20+kills and only 300k for example
Its random because by now someone would have worked out the forumula to get 1mil+ payouts
Like I said above, its NOT based on just what YOU destroy but what your TEAM destroys and then your portion of the WP work you do for the team (maybe even compared to both sides). If it only came from what was destroyed by you, what would be the point of assisting at all. The point of the game would be kill stealing 514, and not really squad based. There would be no point to do logi actions.
I also have a theory that the % loot value of vehicles destroyed isn't as great as what comes from dropsuits as a %age of their original value.
I've watched Jungian's 1million isk match before to try and see what the explanation could be. And if there was 5 million isk destroyed in the battle he had (which is pretty high tbh) then the fact that he got 20% of the WP and 1 million isk would make a lot of sense. |
