These changes coupled with the upcoming armor buffs should make any heavy viable (no promises, just theorycrafting) without being OP. The very least I will look badass.
Please don't ask me when, I just have very, very fond memories from that Fanfest picture.
Until then, I will slog around in my minimally skilled Skinweave and MH-82 fit.
Stand near my Limbus, and I'll keep that "hide" of your fixed. |

Stand near my Limbus, and I'll keep that "hide" of your fixed. I actually remember the original murder taxi just being a LAV with one or two heavies that jumped out and straight up murdered everyone, back when they were OP beasts and the LAV less easy to maneuver. Now, that Limbus, I also want to skill into it and drive my own in my heavy suit. Just because I don't know, is there a repair bubble around it? If so, can it be ammo/repair as well?
Think of it as a repair-tool-on-wheels - Driver locks on to you, and when you start taking damage, fires the repair-module, and then gets out and spools up his/her own HMG >:]
We are all wanting it to be area effect, or auto-lock-on, but CCP Wolfman, in his eternal wisdom, has not seen fit to grant us this (yet).
As for Ammo, I'm hoping to see something like a nanohive module, with _some_ restrictions (temporary depletion or similar), in which case I'll make you immortal('er) and have infinite ammo, while you go Rhino-berserk. |

CCP Rattati wrote:Yeah, I thought so, but then again, I'm a cqc solo player who never even looked at the vehicle skill tree. Is why you have those of us, that mostly skilled into Vehicles, and don't have a first clue how to use an HMG
CCP Rattati wrote:And FYI, not all us ccp devs are actually hands on developing features for Dust. I just love the game and enjoy discussing it, getting feedback and good ideas, and sometimes channeling them to the right places. No worries - some of us actually have a basic understanding of how the real world works. |
