What's the point of having everything gold if you aren't going to glitter? |

Glitter?
I don't think the Amarr would be happy with whatever intimidation factor they have left removed...

I know, It constantly perplexes me... especially when they decide to add glitter to their suits. |

Maybe the glitter's there to blind us when it hits the sun. (shrug) Weird tactic I must admit. |

We duct taped them back together while in cover and continued shooting afterwards. Never give up is engrained in our mind. |

We shine, not glitter. Kind of supposed to be the whole knight-in-shining-armour deal. I never understood the trenchcoat design... Other than it lookd cool and we have a whole hell of a lot more pocket space.
What's with the Gallente pseudo-jumpsuits, being all skintight? Only female soldiers can sport those things without looking silly.

They aren't trench coats, they are skirts. It is hard to take an Amarr commando seriously when the rush you in a golden skirt. |

They're conductor's jackets, if anything. If there's one flaw, it makes it a whole lot harder to sprint for long. |

That's also why we have the heavy soldiers, and you don't. Sure you can don an Amarr Heavy Frame, but you'd then be submitting to its superiority. |

Seriously though, still waiting for them to iron out the shielding glitches in those suits so we can get our hands on some decent heavy Cal-tech. |

Caldari armour isn't all that bad, it's pretty basic and has become the face of the Clone Soldier.
But I seriously have to stifle a laugh every time I look at a Gallente assault unit. |

Our skirts aren't to scare you. They're there because water we take you down and you're looking up in your last moments before you jump into a new clone you'll have to look up our skirts as the last thing you see.
Wouldn't it just be better to accept the chains instead of looking up at our skirts for eternity? |

At the end of the day none of you other races can compete with a Minmatar dropsuit. We are probably the moat versatile suit on the field. We can move fast and we look awesome doing it. |

Yeah, but you're also paper thin. All that speed won't do you any good when you rush straight in to heavy machine gun fire and get torn to shreds. |

Someone who understands! I think the one eye thing scares people. They're not sure if we're pirates or just blind in one eye. |

You know, the Gallente G-1 Scout is actually a good choice if you can use it correctly. Some of my squad members would just throw a shield extender & armour plates on that thing and be good to go. I can't say how many times I've been defending a NULL cannon when some scout blasts me in the back and destroys all the uplinks.

Side Note: My Dragonfly Assault suit actually DOES glitter.
I mostly pack the Raven assault varient now. It pays to drop some coin on standing out. The tougher you look, the most people want to hire you, and nothing screams "I know what I am doing" like custom camo. |

Or the freaking time, for that matter. I honestly don't know how those fancy-schmancy proto-wearing clones manage to rack up all those damn skill points. I mean, seriously. One million? |

Time for training is just that: a matter of time. If a course of training will greatly aid a soldier's specialized role, even a slight improvement can be worth weeks of work.
For example: my approach to my role as a scout involves a full suite of weapons and tools. The full use of quality gear in every available slot places a high demand on a resource-starved suit. Therefore, for the sake of performing efficiently I have put nearly as much training into my suit electronics as many of those soldiers you've seen put into specific suits.
It takes a while to complete integration with the skill hardwiring, but if the training addresses a need, the payoff is well worth it. |
