So I guess this is my cue to start saving SP to prepare for when the upcoming vehicle patch re-balances everything and my SP already spent starts to look stupid and in the wrong place. |

Gonna take forever to reach cap... jesus. They should have doubled the cap and like quadrupled the SP earned in battle.
SP payouts in each match will be pretty much the same as they are now, just with double the cap... yuck. |

you get 2x sp for active WP sounds fine to me. |

I will cap in three days, then i will use the extra time to farm SP. For me I need at least a million WP to put a dent in one area on the tree. By Wednesday I will have enough SP just to cap out my proficiency skills in my HMG. Man I wish it was triple, oh well back to the grind. |

When is there an event?
When the peak player count is below 4500 and the sustained max 8 hour count is below 3000.

I do that too. If someone says something is black/white or says anything that might be about race when it obviously isn't, I'll go "X? That's kinda racist."

Don't waste your active boosters here.
It only doubles the skill point gain from your wp in battle.
That means if you play for 10 minutes that's 3000 sp (5sp/sec)
and if you get 1000 wp, you will get 2000 more sp instead of 1000 sp like usual.
So your gains will go from 4000 per match to 5000, or something like that. |

False... active boosters give you an extra 50% in addition to the regular cap. An active booster will give you an extra 150k this week.
If you think you can cap, now is the day you buy a 3-7 day booster more than ever. |

Smart move CCP guy, I see what you're doing.
I wonder how many people buy AUR or various 'Packs' whenever they do a 2x/3x event. All to advance in a game where most of the vets have tapped out, save for a few still hopeful.
The last gasps before the dark and cold settle in.

If I get 4k SP regular without an active booster for a game of Skirmish will that then become 8k?
If I use and active booster will that then become 12k?

It's interesting they arent counting passive SP gain in matches, only WP -> SP conversion.
Kinda makes me sad, I am completely bored of my calogi suit with the AR, so I have been using an alt to test out new weapons I can possibly spec into. And while I do that, I AFK on my main so I don't get behind. But during the event if I want 2x SP, I actually have to play  |
