This is a post about what pilots would like to see/be in the 1.5 update.
For starters lets just start with the basic of the dropship. Would people be cool with a bit more hp? There needs to be more hp so that dropships can last a little bit longer than usual. Secondly i would love to see some type of built in rep tool for the logi ships (for caldari they should have built in shield transfer, for gallente a built in remote armor).
Another easy thing that needs to be in by 1.5 is the wp (yes all of the wp, shield transfer/armor/spawn/transport). Now there are great posts that people have already made about how the points should be rewarded but if ccp does their own thing its cool (as long its fair).
Now to the good part: This isn't a must but we could use new modules. For example the cloak that was promised a while ago http://dust514.com/news/blog/2012/03/vehicle-dev-b/ just in case ya'll forgot. There is another module that i would like to see if its possible. Its kinda like a counter measure against forge guns. So you activate it and it puts a round sphere around you (do forge shot can get through but strong once can do a good amount of damage, it would be cool to see how you guys thing of this idea. Oh and yea the don't forget flares and smoke and what ever else there is that can stop swarms from hitting. Oh and of course make it so that you can only equip one type of counter measure.
Ok im running out of things to say but i'll make this my last. Can we get more skill type for the dropships? what i mean by this is that the Prometheus skill only give -2 cpu each lvl (same for caldari and gallente) and that's not a lot useful to the gallente because most of the armor stuff use more pg than cpu while shield stuff use more cpu. Its cool if ccp wants to keep it there but at least add another skill there like resistance? the assault dropship gets resistance skills and damage skills while the the transport ones get only one type of skill?

Im kinda of hoping for more modules and less one role fitted ships. For example the logi ships are logi we should have in built repair systems (either shield for cal and armor for gal) but the its not a must. I acutally like it better as it is right now (you get to put it on the way you want) but my point is logi should not have a built in cru becuse you cant heal that with vehicles... The #1 change i would die to see in 1.5 is the choice of turrets, what i mean by this is that the pilot should get to choose if he/she wants two turrets or just one or none at all. That way you can become a transport and get more pg and cpu for tanking. However all of these will go to waste if the wp system is not in place. Also i believe all pilots agree on the drop or green go button for the ships, as blueberries never get especially when you want them to. What type of modules or roles would you guys like to see? Vehicle enginner, built in vehicle repairs? or large ship that can carry more people? Say it!! |

but its a hefty sized list for all vehicles and AV. Its just the ccp is making things kind of harder for themselves. If we had large maps dropships wouldn't be used (90% of the time) as attack choopers. And with the lack of the wp system (something that should've been in ages ago) it makes it even harder to get wp. Which makes the pilot want to spec into good turrets and do nothing be let his/her gunner get kills as its the only way we get points. Av is kinda ballanced agianst dropships. You cant really get killed by av nades unless you get really close to the ground which would be the pilots fault in that case. Swarms do great amount of damge (proto) the only bad thing is we dont have flares to counter meassure with (tbh i hate it how they can curve around cover, not cool). And for forges well lets just say the only change they need it the damage fall off range or a counter meassure for it too. |
